PRCS Loses Contact with Team Attempting to Save Trapped Girl in Gaza
The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) has reported a distressing situation where they have been unable to establish communication with a team in central Gaza dispatched to rescue a six-year-old girl named Hind. The girl became trapped in a car after it came under fire on Monday, resulting in the tragic death of all six family members who were in the vehicle, according to PRCS.
Expressing deep concerns for the safety of the ambulance team that embarked on a mission to rescue Hind Rajab from Gaza City the previous evening, PRCS remains uncertain about their fate and whether they were able to successfully evacuate her.
PRCS has also released an audio clip, purportedly capturing the moment gunfire targeted the car. Within the recording, 15-year-old Layan Hamadeh, a relative of Hind, can be heard pleading for help and speaking to a PRCS paramedic, her voice filled with distress.
