Medical Staff and Patients Trapped in Gaza’s Nasser Medical Complex

According to a statement by the Ministry of Health on Friday night, a significant number of medical personnel, patients, and displaced individuals are still stuck inside the Nasser Medical Complex in southern Gaza. The statement highlighted that those in the maternity building of the enclave's primary operational medical facility had faced harsh and inhumane interrogations by Israeli forces.

Furthermore, the complex is currently without electricity due to malfunctioning generators, posing a severe threat to patients relying on oxygen. In addition, five medical staff members and 120 patients are stranded in the old building of the compound without access to food or water.

The Ministry of Health also reported that Israeli forces had obstructed the transfer of critically ill patients to other hospitals, exacerbating the dire situation inside the Nasser Medical Complex.
