According to the local media and news article where the video was shared online, four individuals identified as part of the "Houthi Navy," dressed in diving equipment, were seen near what seems to be a REMUS 600 UUV labeled "Smokey." As per the information on the AMN News website, the Houthis reportedly found this UUV within the last week in a location off the Yemeni coast.

Houthis Claim Attacks on International Ships and Israel

Yemen's Iran-aligned Houthi group has asserted responsibility for targeting a U.K-owned cargo vessel and launching a drone attack on an American destroyer, in addition to aiming ballistic missiles and drones at Israel's port city of Eilat. The announcement was made by a Houthi spokesperson on social media platform X, following the group's leader's declaration of heightened assaults on ships in various water bodies, including the Red Sea, with the use of new "submarine weapons," mirroring Israel's military actions in Gaza.

Houthi militants have been conducting frequent drone and missile strikes in the Red Sea, Bab al-Mandab Strait, and Gulf of Aden since November, in solidarity with Palestinians amid the ongoing war, which has resulted in a high death toll in Gaza. Abdul Malik al-Houthi, in a televised address, emphasized the continuation, escalation, and efficacy of operations in the Red and Arabian Seas, Bab al-Mandab Strait, and the Gulf of Aden.

Church Transformed into Makeshift Hospital for Gaza's Injured Amid Israeli Offensive

A small chapel in Gaza is now serving as an improvised emergency clinic for Palestinians wounded in Israel’s military campaign.

Among the patients is Mohammed Taysser Sadallah Al-Zarik, an amputee, who appeals for international assistance to leave Gaza and receive a prosthetic limb for his leg. Al-Zarik, aged 22, recounts being injured in an assault on Gaza City's Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, which claimed the life of his cousin. His physical challenges were exacerbated when doctors discovered a tumor, necessitating further amputation, as detailed by his father, Abu Mohammed Al-Zarik.

The ongoing Israeli airstrikes in central and northern Gaza have wiped out entire families. The resulting chaos has forced hundreds of thousands of displaced civilians, previously seeking refuge in hospitals, to flee once more, as medical facilities are either destroyed or inaccessible due to the siege.

In Rafah, to the south, residents are hurriedly moving northward in anticipation of an imminent Israeli ground incursion. Numerous Palestinians interviewed by CNN convey a sense of despair amid the ruins, emphasizing the absence of peace in the midst of the devastation.
