Misbar's team found that the video is not recent, it was taken during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and showing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu using hand sanitizer before accepting a microphone from a United Arab Emirates official.

The footage, part of a longer video, captures the event during the COVID-19 pandemic, with attendees wearing face masks.

U.N. Agency Halts Aid Deliveries to Northern Gaza Amid Reports of Famine

The U.N. has been issuing warnings about "pockets of famine" in Gaza for the past month, with the situation particularly dire in the north. Conditions have continued to deteriorate, leading to a surge in hungry individuals resorting to desperate measures to access aid from passing trucks.

Tamara Alrifai, the director of external relations for the U.N. Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), expressed concern about the challenging circumstances, stating that the actions of hungry and exhausted people are hindering the safe and regular passage of aid trucks. She emphasized the need to communicate this situation sensitively, avoiding any implication of blame or criminality.
