Angry French Farmers Storm Into Agriculture Fair in Paris
The circulation of the image comes after the storming of angry farmers into the halls of the sixtieth edition of the Paris International Agricultural Exhibition on Saturday, February 24. On Friday, February 23, dozens of tractors entered the French capital, Paris, blaring their horns in protest against the escalating costs of agriculture, the agricultural policies of the French government, bureaucratic hurdles, and unfair competition from inexpensive Ukrainian products.
It is noteworthy that Ukrainian products have enjoyed European tax exemptions since 2022, aimed at supporting the Ukrainian economy in the aftermath of the Russian invasion.
French farmers are demanding Macron's resignation as he gets ready to visit the exhibition and officially declare its opening. A member of the farmers' union in France mentioned that they would try to prevent Macron from entering the exhibition, and they plan to protest during his visit.
