According to a news article, Firefighters and rescue teams are battling to contain a significant blaze at the Royal plastic factory near Hebron. Palestinian fire crews, supported by reinforcements from Bethlehem, are actively engaged in firefighting efforts. Fortunately, there have been no reported injuries thus far.

Israel's Potential Ground Incursion into Lebanon

According to senior administration officials and sources acquainted with the intelligence, there's a circulating assertion that Israel is considering a ground invasion into Lebanon. This move could potentially occur in late spring or early summer if diplomatic endeavors fail to compel Hezbollah to retreat from the northern border with Israel. The region has witnessed months of continuous and lethal cross-border assaults by both Israel and Hezbollah, resulting in the displacement of tens of thousands of Lebanese and Israeli residents. Israel has employed artillery, jets, and drones to target specific locations, while Hezbollah has utilized a portion of its extensive arsenal of rockets and missiles.

This marked the most significant intrusion into Lebanese territory since tensions escalated with the Iran-supported group last October, as reported by sources within Lebanon. Demonstrating the potential for heightened conflict, Hezbollah retaliated by launching 60 rockets at an Israeli army headquarters located in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights, according to reports from the group's al-Manar television. A spokesperson for the Israeli army confirmed that numerous rockets were indeed fired from Lebanon towards the Golan Heights.

Tragic Child Deaths from Dehydration and Malnutrition Strike Gaza

The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that at least six children succumbed to dehydration and malnutrition in recent days. Four children passed away at Kamal Adwan Hospital, while two others lost their lives at the Al-Shifa Medical Complex on Wednesday, as confirmed by the health ministry and a local physician.

Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, the acting director and head of pediatrics at Kamal Adwan Hospital, lamented the loss of another infant on Wednesday due to malnutrition. Highlighting Kamal Adwan Hospital as the sole pediatrics facility in northern Gaza, Dr. Safiya expressed concern over the impending halt of generators due to fuel shortages, indicating that incubators and oxygen supply would rely solely on solar panels during daylight hours.
