Misbar's team found that the video dates back to August 2014, during Galloway's tenure as Member of Parliament representing Bradford. Currently, he serves as the Member of Parliament for Rochdale, representing the Workers Party of Britain that he founded.

As per the video shared on the Guido Fawkes blog, Mr. Galloway informed activists that Bradford has been declared an area where Israel-related entities are unwelcome. He expressed, "We reject Israeli products, services, and academics from the university or college."

Galloway achieved a significant win in the 2012 by-election in Bradford West, which he referred to as the Bradford Spring. MP George Galloway has been questioned by police following his declaration of Bradford as an "Israel-free zone." The 59-year-old voluntarily spoke to West Yorkshire police after concerns were raised about a speech he delivered in Leeds.
