Misbar’s Analysis

Misbar investigated the circulated video and found the claim to be misleading.

A thorough reverse image search revealed the video in question to be outdated, predating the current Israeli war on Gaza.

The Video of the Three Channels' Joint Broadcast Dates Back to 2020

Contrary to the social media users’ claim, the video originally features a joint broadcast of Israeli Channel 12 with Dubai TV and Bahrain TV during the signing ceremony of the Abraham normalization agreement involving Israel, the UAE, and Bahrain.

Bh news uploaded the video on Facebook on September 16, 2020. The video’s caption reads, “Shared broadcast of Israeli Channel 12 with Dubai TV and Bahrain TV, on the occasion of the signing of the normalization agreement between Israel, the UAE, and Bahrain.”

The Dubai TV presenter said during the broadcast, "Welcome, Shalom, a peace-filled greeting from the Dubai TV news center to our colleagues at Channel 12 in Israel, and a peaceful greeting to my colleague at Bahrain TV."

The Bahrain TV presenter responded, saying, "Shalom, greetings from us at the Bahrain TV news center, marking a new chapter between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the state of Israel. We welcome you to this encounter between us as media professionals from Bahrain and Israel."

As for the Israeli Channel 12 presenter, she greeted them in Hebrew and announced that this was a joint broadcast, concluding with, "Peace be upon you, good evening to Mohammed Al Kaabi from Dubai TV and Bassam Al Bedawi from Bahrain TV."

The Abraham Accords

The Abraham Accords are a set of agreements aimed at normalizing relations between Israel and several Arab states. These agreements, signed in the latter half of 2020, include a general declaration as well as bilateral agreements between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Morocco.

The name "Abraham Accords" draws from the biblical figure of Abraham, revered as a common patriarch in the Abrahamic religions, which include Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.

Israel Pushes Ahead with Offensive in Rafah Amid Heightened Concerns

Since October 7, the Ministry of Health in Gaza has reported that Israel has caused the deaths of over 31,600 individuals. Within the past 24 hours alone, 92 people have lost their lives. The ministry further states that the count of injured individuals has risen to 73,676.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Sunday that an Israeli operation in Rafah, located in southern Gaza, will continue for "several weeks." Despite international concern, Netanyahu affirmed his determination to proceed with the offensive.

Moreover, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the Director-General of the World Health Organization, expressed serious apprehension regarding the ongoing offensive in Rafah. He highlighted particular concern for the 1.4 million displaced Palestinians seeking shelter in the area.
