Director-General Munir al-Bursh of Gaza's Ministry of Health expressed profound shock and horror over the devastation caused by Israeli forces at the Indonesian Hospital, as reported by Al Jazeera. Israeli tanks and snipers besieged the hospital in Beit Lahiya for several days before targeting its main generator and conducting a raid.

The Ministry of Health reported that the hospital faced heavy bombardment from the Israeli army, leading to concerns for the safety of 200 injured individuals and medical staff. Tragically, intense Israeli fire claimed the life of a wounded woman and left at least three others injured.

Consequently, the hospital struggles to cope with a surge in wounded patients amid severe shortages of medical supplies.

Furthermore, several individuals were reportedly arrested during the raid, with Al Jazeera's correspondent Ismail Al-Ghoul and his team subjected to severe beatings and detention before being released after 12 hours at an undisclosed location.

The Israeli military claimed at least 50 fatalities and several detentions during their raid on al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza.
