Misbar investigated the viral claim and found it to be misleading. The clip does not show Israelis nor does it have any relation to the Iranian retaliation against Israel.

The Clip Was Captured In Argentina, Not Israel

When geolocating the places shown in the clip, we can find that it is near the Four Seasons Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Comparing the scenes in the viral clip to the places shown in Google Street View about the Four Seasons Hotel, it is noticeable that the area in the clip matches the exterior of the hotel.

According to Infobae, an international Argentine online newspaper, Louis Tomlinson, the ex-member of the band One Direction, was in Buenos Aires, where he stayed at the Four Seasons hotel and interacted with fans in the vicinity of the hotel, on April 5.

Israel Vowed To Respond to Iran

After the Iranian drone and missile retaliatory unprecedented attack on Israel, which saw Iran launch a series of strikes at Israel over a five-hour period, Israel has vowed to exact a price from Iran.

An Israeli official confirmed to CNN that Israel will respond, but the scope of the response has not been decided, and Israel is yet to determine whether to try and “break all the dishes” or do something larger in scale.

However, Israel is being urged by Western allies to de-escalate. According to U.S. officials familiar with the matter, U.S. President Joe Biden and members of his national security team told their counterparts the U.S. would not participate in offensive actions intended towards Iran. Blinken also affirmed that the U.S. does not seek escalation but will support the “defence of Israel and protect our personnel in the region.”
