Iranian Drone and Missile Assault on Israel

The Israeli military reported that Iran launched over 300 drones and missiles towards Israel. According to military spokesman Rear Adm Daniel Hagari, the attack comprised 170 drones and 30 cruise missiles, none of which breached Israeli territory, and approximately 110 ballistic missiles, with only a few reaching Israel.

Iraqi security sources informed Reuters that projectiles were observed flying over Iraq towards Israel, with the shortest distance between Iran and Israel spanning about 1,000km (620 miles) across Iraq, Syria, and Jordan. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated that ballistic missiles were fired approximately an hour after the slower-moving drones to synchronize their impact with Israel. The U.S. defense department announced that U.S. forces intercepted numerous missiles and drones launched from Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Yemen.
