Misbar investigated the claim and found it to be misleading, as the video clip is old and does not depict a recent exodus from Rafah. The original footage was shared by Abdullah Ghunaim on his personal Instagram account on November 8, 2023. He stated that it showed the displacement of Gaza residents from the northern part of the Gaza Strip to the south.
1.6 Million People Displaced After 33 Days of Israeli Aggression on Gaza
On November 8, 2023, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) reported that more than 1.6 million people from the besieged Gaza Strip had been forcibly displaced to the central and southern regions of the territory after 33 days of Israeli aggression on the area.

The Israeli occupation urged residents of the eastern neighborhoods in the Rafah area to leave, warning that Gaza City remains a dangerous combat zone and advising against approaching the eastern and southern security fence or returning north through the Gaza Valley.
The United Nations Warns of the Repercussions of Invading Rafah
The United Nations, in a statement published on its official website on Monday, warned of the consequences of the Israeli aggression on the city of Rafah. The organization stated that it would lead to a significant number of casualties, pose catastrophic risks to 600,000 children, and result in the complete destruction of the few remaining essential services.
