Misbar investigated the viral footage and found the claim to be misleading.

A thorough reverse image search revealed the circulating video to be older than claimed.

Old Video of Donald Trump Mocking Joe Biden

Contrary to social media users’ claim, the video was not shot recently, it was filmed in 2022.

Sky News uploaded the original video to YouTube on October 28, 2022. The video’s title reads, “'Do you think Biden could do that?': Trump mocks the U.S. President.”

The video shows former U.S. President Donald Trump participating in a golf tournament at one of his clubs. In the video, Trump is heard mocking the current U.S. President, Joe Biden.

Donald Trump Mocks Joe Biden Over the Years

The video does not capture the only joke Donald Trump made targeting his 2024 election rival, Joe Biden. During an October 2023 campaign event in Iowa, Trump humorously questioned President Biden's capabilities, quipping, "‘You think Biden could do that?’" After signing his name on a tractor.

Following the recent debate, former President Donald Trump expressed satisfaction with his performance against President Biden during a speech in Chesapeake, Virginia. "Did anybody last night watch anything called a debate?" Trump characterized Biden as "corrupt" and "incompetent."

Biden's Shaky Performance in the Debate With Trump

In the first presidential debate of the 2024 campaign, President Biden's performance was criticized for lacking vigor, contrasting sharply with Donald Trump's composed demeanor throughout the 90-minute event filled with insults and policy clashes. Held at CNN headquarters in Atlanta, the debate saw Biden struggle at times with articulation before correcting himself.

Despite Biden's criticisms of Trump's COVID-19 response and policy positions, Democrats expressed concerns over his effectiveness, with discussions emerging about his candidacy.
