Misbar investigated the circulating image and found the claim to be fake, as it was not taken during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Misbar's team discovered that the image has been spreading online since October 2023 and was produced using AI.

Misbar's team detected unique signs of AI creation, including inconsistencies in the colors of some Palestinian flags. Moreover, a content analysis performed on the 'Hive Moderation' website shows a 99.9% probability that the image was AI-generated.
