The Photo Shows the Execution of a Collaborator, But Not in Gaza

The photo was shared on November 24, 2023, depicting the execution of an individual accused of collaborating with Israel in the Tulkarm refugee camp in the West Bank.

An X user shared a video clip on November 25, 2023, depicting the same execution scene at the same location displayed in the viral photo. The video was accompanied by two other videos. It was shared under the translated caption that reads, "The resistance in Tulkarm hung the bodies of the Israeli collaborators in front of the crowds of resistance and the families of martyrs whose sons were assassinated by the spies."

Execution of Two Palestinians Accused of Spying for Israel in Tulkarm

According to reports, verified videos circulating on social media show a man hanging from an electric pole and another man suspended by his head from a wall in front of a crowd in the Tulkarm refugee camp in the West Bank on November 24, 2023.

The Tulkarm Brigades claimed responsibility for the executions. In a statement on its Telegram account on November 24, the group asserted that they maintain a "zero tolerance" policy towards informants collaborating with Israel.

The two individuals were accused of aiding Israeli security forces in targeting Palestinian activists during an operation that resulted in the deaths of four activists in November.
