Israel Targets Residential Building in Nuseirat Refugee Camp, Gaza Strip

On August 18, Palestinian photojournalist Khamis Al-Refi published a video showing the same building under bombardment, stating that it documents the moment an Israeli missile targeted the Zaqout tower in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the Gaza Strip.

Al Jazeera aired the video from Al-Rifi, stating that it shows an Israeli missile striking the Zaqout tower in the Nuseirat camp in central Gaza.

Israeli Army Launches Intensive Airstrikes on Lebanon

The claim circulated after the Israeli army launched intense airstrikes on Lebanese border towns, the Bekaa Valley, Baalbek, and other areas. On Monday, Israeli warplanes carried out a violent attack targeting infrastructure in southern and eastern Lebanon.

In this context, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that the Israeli aggression in southern Lebanon, the Bekaa Valley, and Baalbek resulted in the deaths of 356 Lebanese, including women and children, while the number of injured reached 1,246. The ministry noted that thousands of families have been displaced from targeted areas.

Hezbollah Shells Israeli Positions

Hezbollah announced in several statements that it targeted Israeli sites with dozens of missiles, including the command headquarters of the Northern Command at the Ein Zeitim base.

Hezbollah also stated that it struck the military industry complexes of Rafael in the Zofolon area, north of Haifa. Hezbollah emphasized that the strikes were in support of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in response to Israeli assaults on the southern regions and the Bekaa Valley.
