The circulating image depicts tents engulfed in flames at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital on the night of October 14, following an Israeli airstrike that resulted in the deaths of four individuals and injuries to dozens more.

These scenes were reported by Arab and Western media and captured by journalists and activists in Gaza, who documented the charred bodies of the victims from the Israeli strike that targeted displaced individuals inside their tents. Eyewitnesses stated that medical teams evacuated several injured people while large portions of their clothing were ablaze. They noted that the fire burned for 45 minutes before civil defense teams successfully brought it under control.
U.K. Imposes Sanctions on Iran After Attack on Israel
On October 14, the U.K. announced new sanctions targeting prominent Iranian figures and military organizations for their alleged involvement in efforts to destabilize the Middle East. In its official statement, the U.K. clarified that the new sanctions package also targets the Farzanegan Payment Systems Design Bureau (FPSDB), which designs and manufactures components for cruise missiles, as well as the Iranian Space Agency, which develops technologies applicable to ballistic missile development.
Iranian Attack on Israel in Early October 2024
On October 1, Iran launched approximately 200 ballistic missiles at Israel. While Israeli officials reported that most of the missiles were intercepted by Israeli air defense systems, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard claimed that 90 percent of the projectiles hit their intended targets.
A BBC reporter in Jerusalem stated that some military bases may have been struck, and the missiles also impacted restaurants and schools.
