A thorough reverse image search found the video making the rounds to be older than claimed.
Outdated Video Shows Israel Police Beating Ultra-Orthodox Jewish Protesters
Contrary to social media users’ viral claims, the video is neither recent nor related to the recent tensions between pro-Palestine protesters and Israelis in Amsterdam.

The video's caption explains that it shows Israeli police confronting religious Jewish individuals in Jerusalem during protests against military recruitment in the Israeli occupying forces.
Ultra-Orthodox Israelis Clash With Israel Police Over Military Service
According to The New York Times, hundreds of ultra-Orthodox Israeli men protested outside a conscription center in Jerusalem on August 21, 2024.
They clashed with police amid growing tensions over a court decision mandating military drafts for their community.
Following a Supreme Court ruling in June that eliminated long-standing exemptions, Israel’s military began issuing conscription orders to ultra-Orthodox men aged 18 to 26.
Israeli police deployed reinforcements, sealed off multiple streets, and reportedly used water cannons and batons to disperse the crowds.
Tensions Erupted Between Israelis and Pro-Palestine Protesters in Amsterdam
Clashes erupted between pro-Palestine supporters and fans of an Israeli football club ahead of a UEFA Europa League match.
Tensions flared when Israeli fans removed a Palestinian flag and chanted anti-Arab slogans. Some Israeli fans also reportedly attacked homes displaying Palestinian flags, according to Amsterdam City Council member Jazie Veldhuyzen.
After the match, groups on scooters clashed with Maccabi supporters heading to the city center.
Riot police intervened, escorting some fans to their hotels by bus under police protection. In response to the unrest, police deployed an additional 600 officers.
On Saturday, Amsterdam prosecutors reported that 10 individuals face charges for crimes, including vandalism, while 40 others received fines for disturbing public order.
Amsterdam police confirmed that 20 to 30 individuals sustained minor injuries. Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that 10 Israelis were injured.
