These Scenes Were Shot in Beirut, Not Kyiv
Contrary to social media users' viral claim, the video and photo were taken in Beirut, just hours before the Israel-Lebanon ceasefire started.
Misbar’s team traced the photo to a Hebrew media website, which uploaded it on November 26, as featuring a traffic jam in Beirut after Israeli military evacuation warnings ahead of imminent airstrikes in the city.
Shafaq News, a local media website, also uploaded the photo on November 16, reporting on the Lebanon-Israel ceasefire agreement.
In addition, Misbar’s team found the footage to be from Beirut.
An Israeli N12 News reporter published the video on X on November 26. According to the reporter, the scene features Lebanese evacuating from Beirut areas after recent Israeli warnings.
Moreover, Misbar’s team closely investigated the scene and found a banner displaying a picture of the former secretary-general of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah.
