Clashes in Syria
On November 27, 2024, Syrian opposition factions launched a military operation in northern Syria against regime forces and militias loyal to it, announcing that its aim was to launch a pre-emptive strike against the Syrian regime.
The opposition factions were able to completely control Idlib Governorate, the city of Aleppo and the western countryside of Aleppo Governorate, as well as towns and villages in the northern Hama countryside.
